Let me share with you three things in the Bible: "circumcision", "baptism" and "grace". These are three very important things. For thousands of years, many people do not understand the meaning behind these three things! First, let's talk about "circumcision"! This is not a health education course, but it is indeed closely related to physical health. "Circumcision" means "circumcision of the foreskin"! Both Judaism and Islam must circumcise the foreskin of newborn boys. Why? Many people say: This is a religious ceremony. In fact, the Old Testament has always emphasized "circumcision". What is the meaning of this? The foreskin of boys is easy to hide dirt and filth, so after the foreskin of boys is circumcised, it is less likely to be infected and spread "germs"! "Circumcision" means "circumcision". If a boy is circumcised when he is just born, it will not be too painful and have little impact. If he is circumcised when he grows up, he will need a long time to adapt! Why does the Old Testament emphasize "circumcision"? The purpose of "circumcision" is to cut off the opportunity for us to hide dirt and filth. "Circumcision" is actually a "symbol of self-cleanliness" for men! Many Jewish and Islamic leaders do not understand why circumcision is necessary, so they turn circumcision into a "faith ritual"! "Circumcision" was a "self-cleansing method" before Jesus came! After Jesus came, it became "baptism"! Didn't Jesus accept "the baptism of John the Baptist"? Christianity began with "baptism"! That's why the apostles said: Gentiles don't need to be "circumcised"! Gentiles only need to be "baptized"! "Baptism" is not a religious ritual, "baptism" is a determination, a determination to cut off "sins"! "Circumcision" and "baptism" are both a determination to cut off sin and cleanse oneself! What are "circumcision and baptism" like? It's like Buddhism: shaving one's head to become a monk or nun! Monks shaving their heads and nuns shaving their heads are both a determination to separate from the secular world! We know that the "secular world" has always been the "abyss of sins". As long as we live in this world, it is difficult for us to escape the temptation and trap of sins!

Therefore, the Bible has always emphasized that circumcision is the "circumcision" of the heart, and "circumcision" is not a religious ceremony! "Baptism" is also the "baptism" of the heart, not a religious ceremony! The biggest mistake of us modern people is that we regard religious rituals as more important than the thoughts in our hearts! The faith and belief in the heart are more important than "circumcision" and "baptism"! Was Abraham circumcised? Abraham was not circumcised! Why did Abraham receive the promised blessing? Because Abraham "Trust in God"! What is "justification by faith"? What is "faith"? In Chinese, there are "believe" and "trust"! Is there a difference between "believe" and "trust"? Did Abraham only believe in God? Of course not! Abraham was able to be "justified by faith" because Abraham completely "trusted in God". Only those who have complete "faith" in God can completely trust in God! This is the real reason why Abraham was able to be "justified by faith"! The devil also believes in God, why can't the devil be justified? Because the devil feels that he is more powerful than God! This is the devil's "pride"! Does a person "believe" in God? Or "trust" in God? You can tell by looking at their behavior! Therefore, "circumcision and baptism" are just a physical mark, which is what we often call "religious rituals"! I want to tell you a fact: If "circumcision and baptism" only stay on us, if "circumcision and baptism" are just a religious ritual, then you will never enter the kingdom of heaven! "Circumcision and baptism" must come from the "heart", only "circumcision in the heart" and "baptism in the heart" are the real "circumcision" and "baptism"! You can read the Bible carefully, what I tell you is completely non-contradictory!

Finally, "grace" ~ This is something that pastors all over the world have been unable to understand for thousands of years! I think Paul also doesn't understand "grace"! What exactly is "grace"? "Grace" is what we say: Good fortune, good luck, good luck! Why are two people born in the same family, but their destinies are completely different? Nowadays, many pastors explain "grace" casually. Those pastors make the "God's grace" very "cheap"! God's grace is "priceless", but it is never "cheap"! Let's compare two people: Jesus' disciples Judas and Peter! Why did Peter deny the Lord three times, but Peter was still the disciple loved by Jesus? Why did Peter get so much authority from Jesus? Judas betrayed Jesus, but in the end he chose to commit suicide, and even the hope of salvation was extinguished! Do they have grace? These two people are people around Jesus, and they certainly have "grace" from Jesus! The biggest difference between Peter and Judas is: Peter "trusts" in Jesus! Judas "believes" in Jesus! Do you know where "grace" comes from? "Grace" comes from "trust"! If we "do not trust" in God, we will definitely not have grace from God! Why do Christians often thank God? Because we know that these things cannot be accomplished by ourselves, but we trust in God, and He gives us "grace", so we can accomplish it! Why do many Christians now have no "grace"? Because they only "believe" in God, they don't dare to "trust in God" at all! Many Christians believe in God, but they still trust in themselves! These Christians are modern Judas! What did Judas trust? "Money and power"! If Judas didn't trust in money, why did he sell Jesus for money? And when Jesus was crucified on the cross, the "power" that Judas trusted in was completely lost, which is why Judas committed suicide! Judas didn't trust in a "greater creator" at all!

What is mentioned most in the Bible? "Retribution"! The Bible, whether in the Old Testament or the New Testament, has always emphasized that God will repay individuals according to their deeds! Let's look back at Abraham. Why was Abraham justified by faith? Because Abraham trust in a "righteous God", so Abraham did not do unrighteous things. Although Abraham was not "circumcised and baptized", Abraham was still a "righteous man" in God's eyes! We must understand one thing: A person who truly trusts in God will not do evil things, why? Because God will never give grace to the devil! People who trust in God must draw "grace" from God. If people who trust in God do evil things, how can there be grace from God? I hope everyone understands the true meaning and value of "circumcision", "baptism" and "grace"!!
