Does a person’s value really lie in his excellence? Just remembered my deceased brother! Now I am in tears! Of course I know he is better life than me now, but I am still very sad! Why are you sad? I remember telling myself since I was a child: I will definitely take care of him in all my life! Although, this is just a secret promise to myself. I don’t know if I can take care of a brother with an IQ of only 8 years old for the rest of my life? But I believe I will try my best! I don’t know whether I should thank God for taking my brother away? If my brother were still alive, I believe taking care of him would have been a financial burden! But I know it's been 2 years since he left, and I'm still really sad! There are still many places I haven’t taken him to see! In this utilitarian world, I believe no one would want to take care of a worthless person for a lifetime! I am really confused, what is the "value of a person"? Having money means having value? Does having a good socio-economic status mean having value? Or does having power mean having value? Perhaps, everyone in the world can create value that surpasses my brother, but the position he holds in my heart is irreplaceable! Maybe, many people think I am a fool! I don't care what others think of me, but I know this is my most honest feeling in my heart! A person’s value and status are definitely not based on: money, power, or fame! The value of a person in another person's heart is definitely based on care and love! If a person doesn’t care about you or love you, his money, fame and status have nothing to do with you!
一個人的價值真的在於他的優秀嗎？剛剛想起去世的哥哥！現在的我已經淚流滿面！我當然知道他過得比我好，但我還是很難過！為什麼難過？記得從小我就告訴自己：我必然會一輩子照顧他！雖然、這只是自己暗自承諾，我不知道我能不能做到照顧一個智商只有8歲的哥哥一輩子？但我相信我會竭盡自己的能力！我不知道是否應該感謝上帝把哥哥帶走呢？若哥哥繼續活著，相信照顧他必然也是一種經濟負擔！但我知道他離開2年了，我現在還是真的很難過！我還有好多地方沒有帶他去看看！在這個功利主義的世界，相信沒有人會希望照顧一個沒有價值的人一輩子！我真的迷惑，「人的價值」到底是什麼？有錢就是有價值？有好的社經地位就是有價值？還是有權力就是有價值？或許、全世界每一個人都可以創造超越我哥哥的價值，但他在我心中的地位，卻是無人能取代！或許、許多人覺得我是傻瓜！我不在乎別人怎麼看我，但我知道這是我內心最誠實的感受！一個人的價值和地位絕對不是建立在：金錢、權力、名聲！一個人在另外一個人心中的價值絕對是建立在：關心和愛的基礎上！一個人不關心你、不愛你，這個人的金錢、名聲和地位都與你無關！
