How many homosexuals, transgender people, and abortionists has American education produced? American school teachers certainly didn't kill anyone, but don't they have to pay the price for their words and actions? Was it for his own "reputation and vanity," or was he truly defending "Biblical truth"? You can judge for yourself!!
