Who needs the ESV? I have an extra one! This English Bible is really interesting. I bought a hardcover, and then my school gave me a paperback, so now I have two English Standard Versions! I have to admire God! He had a friend give me the King James Version 10 years ago. When my friend gave it to me, I thought, "With my English level, I'll probably never need it!" It turns out God has been preparing me! My journey from Taiwan to the United States was all a process of preparation! God works in unexpected ways! My favorite English Bible is still the NIV (New International Version). I'm really bad! I already have four English Bibles...and maybe six or seven Chinese Bibles, maybe even more...I even laugh at myself. Who would buy so many Bibles for no reason? But most of my Bibles are gifts from friends! This truly is God's provision! I used to think the Bible was a good thing. Didn't hotels use Bibles to quell evil spirits? Didn't Hillary use the Bible to attack Clinton? I never really thought the Bible was meant to be "read." But now it seems that when God wants to use someone, He will prepare that person! I never thought I would read the English Bible... What's worse: I became the kind of preacher I despised the most! Alas! Our lives are truly not in our own hands!
誰需要ESV版本，我有多一本！這英文聖經真的有趣，我自己買一本精裝本，後來學校送一本平裝本，所以、我就有2本English Standard Version的聖經！我必須佩服上帝！祂讓我朋友10年前就送我King James的版本。朋友送我的時候，心想：我這種英文水平可能一輩子都用不著吧！原來神真的一直在預備我！我從台灣來美國都是神的一個預備過程！神行事、真的讓人意想不到！英文聖經我最喜歡的版本還是NIV（New International Version），我真的很糟糕！英文聖經已經4本…中文聖經大概有6-7本，可能更多…自己都覺得自己很好笑，誰會沒事買這麼多聖經？不過、我的聖經大部份都是朋友送的！這真的是：神預備！以前一直認為聖經是好東西，旅館不是用聖經來鎮壓邪靈嗎？希拉里不是用聖經來打克林頓嗎？我還真的從來沒有想過聖經是用來「讀」的！不過今天看來、神要使用一個人，他必然會預備這個人！我從來沒有想過自己會讀英文聖經…更糟糕的是：我做了自己最瞧不起的傳道人！唉！我們的人生真的不是在自己的手中！
