I don't know when Jesus comes to judge the world, who is qualified to say: There is no sin? What is the sin of modern generation? The sin of modern people ~ I'm good enough! Never care about others! (2 Kings 20:19) Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days? ~ Hezekiah's sickness almost death, when God healed Hezekiah, Hezekiah was not thankful to God, but proud! He showed all the treasures to the Babylonian messengers, and Isaiah told Hezekiah: You are doing this wrong! Hezekiah did not feel afraid of God's words and anger, he never wanted to correct himself and admit his mistakes. On the contrary, Hezekiah felt that it was okay to offend Jehovah God. Why?
Hezekiah had determined that God gave him 15 years of life, and he believed that God would not take away his life, and Hezekiah knew that God's promise would be fulfilled! Therefore, what Hezekiah cared about was this life, he did not care about eternal life at all, and he was not afraid of offending God! He clearly knows that God is faithful and that God really exists, but he is no longer afraid of offending God! It was because Hezekiah was very satisfied in this life that he did not ask for anything at all! What does this mean? He doesn't have to listen to God's words anymore, he can do whatever he wants! Anyway, after the death of Hezekiah, the king of Babylon destroyed Israel and took away the treasures of the kingdom of Israel, and he couldn't see that, all this had nothing to do with Hezekiah!
Does this scene look familiar? This is the modern parent! This is modern humans! Parents feed their kids cell phones and iPads for their own convenience! In order to satisfy their own desires, modern people continue to destroy the environment and show off their wealth and waste! No matter the war, no matter the Covid... No matter how bad our environment is, all of this stems from human selfishness and lust! We are living in an age where there is no hope of eternal life! Because we don't have God in our hearts, we don't believe in eternal life at all, and if there is no eternal life, my efforts in this life to not sin and think about others are all in vain! Do we care about our children's future? Or are we more concerned with stock returns? We care about computers and mobile phones....do these electronic products bring pollution to the environment? Or do we care more about convenience and showing off our wealth?
Do we care about the health of our children? Or are we feeding our kids drugs for our own convenience? In Taiwan, an addict couple fed a baby drug! Isn't it happening in the world now? Parents make their children desperately vaccinated for convenience! And don't care about the physical harm of vaccines to children! In order to facilitate the management of the people, the government has opened up marijuana smoking establishments! Does marijuana have a good effect on people's health? "Abortion" and "pro-transgender" are both ways the government manages the people! Do you think it's for your own good to "abortion" and "transgender at will"? You are so stupid! It's like cannabis feeding! A government that arbitrarily sins against us is never good for us!
Man! Most afraid of offending God is smart! Our life are only a few decades old! We will be dead for a long time! We may die for tens of thousands of years, and think again: If there really is a lake of fire, is it really good to offend God and be in the lake of fire? Trump is really great! Use God as a guise! If he trusts God completely, there is no need to publish alien information! Are there aliens? I believe there are aliens! Like I believe in the devil! What we haven't seen does not necessarily exist, because we are simply insignificant people! The Creator has made too many things, does He need our consent? Does He need to let us know?
Maybe, you are still like Hezekiah to this day~ I'm good enough! People's selfishness has already doomed their demise! Selfishness is not to let others destroy you, but to destroy yourself! "Selfishness" and "greed" are contagious like viruses! When you turn everyone around you into just like you—selfish and greedy, it's the day of your own demise!
