The Real Servant

We've been busy preparing for our wedding lately! After our Sunday evening gathering, we went to deliver sleeping bags to the homeless. It was a really cold and windy Sunday night. Although our sleeping bags weren't worth much, and what we did was just a small, humble act, we did bring a little warmth to these homeless people in this cold winter! Yesterday, we went to deliver sleeping bags again, and we met the same homeless man from Sunday. His eyes were filled with tears, and he kept saying thank you!

We are a small church! Thank God! He uses us, these humble people! Thank the Lord! God sent a sister to donate a lot of hats, scarves, and down jackets to us. We now have many supplies, but these supplies must reach those in need! (Romans 8:28) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to their purpose. ~ I believe many people want to be a "pastor's wife," but I have no expectations of being one, and I don't like being one! Many people only see the authority and fame of pastors. I want to ask how many pastors are willing to deliver sleeping bags in the cold winter? Although my fiancé and I are just ordinary people, there is one thing about my fiancé that truly moves me: He hands out flyers in the cold wind! He gives sleeping bags to the homeless! He is willing to shake hands and pray for the homeless! I want to ask: How many pastors are willing to do these things? A person's nobility or baseness is not in their "outer appearance," but in their "inner self"! Recently, my fiancé's character has indeed been slandered, but I have always believed that God is a God who examines the hearts of people! My fiancé doesn't really have outstanding qualities, but what I value in him is his love for God! This is the partner I have been praying for from God! Thank God! Our marriage is blessed by most people, though a small minority of self-proclaimed "Christians" slander and sabotage it! A truly noble person is not defined by outward appearance, but by their inner character! When those who consider themselves noble slander good people, they are "disregarding God's justice." I can tell those who casually slander "God's servants": You will surely be judged by God! "God's servants" indeed have spiritual authority! (Genesis 12:3) God blesses the world through his servants. Therefore, those who bless God's servants will be blessed! ~~Those who curse God's servants will be cursed! If my fiancé and I were greedy and selfish, we wouldn't be qualified to be called "servants of God" at all!

Does God choose people the same way people choose people? Of course not! People choose people based on: knowledge, education, money, ability, etc.! Many people have pastoral qualifications, but do their character qualify them to be "pastors"? The answer lies in everyone's heart! I believe our God is a Lord who examines hearts! We believe even more strongly that God absolutely blesses and protects those He loves! Why did we deliver sleeping bags, hats, and scarves in the freezing cold night? Although our wedding is approaching and we've been extremely busy lately, if we can bring these homeless people a little warmth, or even save a life, isn't that pleasing to God? We all know a pastor's responsibility is to save souls! If these people are struggling to survive, how can we possibly save their souls? "Life and soul" are both important! Even more important is that God is a God who examines hearts! Are we Christians with "true love"? The answer lies in the heart of every Christian! (1 Corinthians 13:2) And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
