Yesterday I was talking with a brother about the difference between God and the devil! We often say we "worship God" or "worship the Creator." I want to ask everyone, "What's the difference between God and the devil?" Everyone says, "I worship the true God." I want to ask, "How do you know you're not worshiping the devil?" (James 4:7) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ~~James says: We must obey God and resist the devil! As long as we obey God, we can certainly resist the devil! Why can we resist the devil by obeying God? If we treat the devil as God, can we resist the devil? If we worship the devil, we will naturally become the devil! This is a simple truth!
What is the difference between the devil and God? I used to often hear many Christians say that those who disagree with them are demons! In the eyes of outsiders, many Christians are demons. Why are Christians demons? They don't seek justice; they worship the devil! They worship their own gods, and that god, or that person, claims its to be the "true God"! These Christians lack even the most basic discernment! They don't know how to discern demons! They call those who disagree with them demons! Many people are superstitious about miracles, believing that they can only come from God! Therefore, they believe that those who perform miracles are all gods! This fulfills the Book of Revelation! Not all who perform miracles are gods; demons can also perform miracles. Yesterday I asked a brother: Could the magicians in Egypt perform the same miracles as Moses? Therefore, blindly pursuing miracles often leads to falling into the devil's snare! The true difference between the devil and God lies in justice! The devil does not practice justice! If the devil practices justice, then he deserves to be called a "god"! Why are there so many "gods" in Chinese folk religion? Everyone should understand that the Chinese "gods" who are called "gods" must have done things that benefited the people. This is what makes them "practicing justice," and they deserve to be called "gods"! The Chinese have a misconception: We worship God not to "seek God's justice," but to "seek miracles." This is why Chinese folk religions have given rise to so many "demons"! If every god we worship were to learn "God's justice," would anyone in this world still worship "demons"? The devil is worshipped because we all seek miracles.!
What is "justice"? "Justice" is what benefits the majority of people! Why is the devil not a god? Because the devil does everything for his own benefit! We must understand that the true difference between "gods" and "demons" lies in "justice," not in "miracles" or "wealth"! I will not resist the Chinese gods, because the Israelites also worshipped Moses and King Solomon as gods! If the God worshipped by the Chinese is meant to teach them to "do justice and be kind," why should we prohibit them from worshipping those who are "kind and righteous"? What I fear most is that the Chinese worship God just as the Israelites worshipped Moses and King Solomon! What did the Israelites worship Moses for? Isrealites worshipped "Moses' power" and "King Solomon's wealth"! The Israelites cared nothing about "Moses' humility and obedience"! They didn't seek "King Solomon's wisdom"! Their entire lives were devoted to pursuing "Moses' power" and "King Solomon's wealth"! I wonder if you can distinguish between "God and the devil." When we can distinguish between "God and the devil," we will understand: Is Israel's attack on Palestine just or based on "profits of Israel"? Is the US veto of Palestinian statehood just or based on Israel's "benefits"? Is Charlie Krik's public debate with the university students in "his own profits" or out of "justice"? Let me say it again: "Justice" is what benefits the vast majority of people! If a person prioritizes "his own interests," that person is "selfish," and "selfish people" can never practice justice! Those who do not practice justice are the devil! The devil must be cast into the lake of fire! "Devil" is definitely not someone who has offended us; the devil is someone who has offended God. The devil is someone who does not practice justice! Some people ask: What does it mean to benefit the majority? Does "practicing justice" mean that the majority thinks a person is good? Of course not! Just like New York's legalization of marijuana, where marijuana use is openly legal, is it beneficial? It is not, and it is extremely harmful! Furthermore, is the establishment of a Palestinian state beneficial to the Palestinian people? Of course it is, but it poses a threat to Israel. Therefore, when Israel and the United States oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state, they are completely operating from their own selfish perspective. "Practicing justice" is the simplest way to distinguish between "God and the devil"! I believe that in this day and age, we have too many idols in our hearts. No matter which idol you worship, first ask yourself why you worship it. If you simply seek miracles, you will quickly fall into the "snare of idols"! We worship the "true God," not a name or miracles. What is worthy of our worship is the "righteousness" of the "true God." Only by practicing righteousness can we accumulate treasures in heaven! Only by practicing righteousness can we truly "worship the true God." Only by practicing righteousness can we "obey God" and "resist the devil"! Many people say that the Bible contains contradictions, but the Bible is not contradictory at all! "Practicing righteousness" is a manifestation of obedience to God, and those who obey God can easily resist the devil and avoid being deceived by the devil. Even a three-year-old understands such a simple truth. Don't these pastors and Christian leaders understand it? If your pastor doesn't understand what a three-year-old understands, you should consider changing your pastor!!
