Matthew 12:20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. — This chayote vine, due to the bitter cold we had recently, suffered frostbite! Yet, God did not allow it to snap; instead, He let it continue to grow. What, then, can we do? As Christians, we are responsible for sowing and watering, but we possess no power to bring about growth in people. The pressure felt by many pastors stems precisely from this issue of "growth"! "Growth" is—and always will be—God's work alone! In prayer today, I asked God: "Why can I not shepherd a congregation of 'high-status' people—those who are wealthy, so that I wouldn't have to worry about financial burdens while ministering?" God answered me: "If every pastor were to shepherd only the 'high-status' crowds, then who would be left to shepherd the poor?" God then asked me: "Is the grace I have given you not sufficient?" Praise be to God! God is truly a God overflowing with grace! God has truly caused my "cup of blessing" to overflow! I have come to realize: Obedience is, and always will be, my pathway to blessing! Praise God! God told me just one thing: "Simply shepherd the sheep I have entrusted to you, and watch how I will bless you!"
马太福音 12:20 压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不吹灭；等他施行公理，叫公理得胜。～這佛手瓜因前陣子天太冷～凍傷！結果上帝沒有讓它折斷，讓它繼續生長。我們能做什麼？基督徒負責撒種和澆灌，我們卻沒有能力讓人成長。許多牧者的壓力來自～成長！「成長」永遠是上帝的工作！今天禱告我問上帝：為何我不能牧一群高大上的人群？這些人有錢、我也不需要帶錢服事！上帝回答我：若每個牧者都去牧那些高大上的人群，那誰要牧養貧窮人呢？上帝問我：我給你的恩典不夠多嗎？感謝神！上帝真的是恩典滿滿的神！上帝真的讓我是～福杯滿溢！我想：順服永遠是我的蒙福之道！感謝神！上帝只告訴我一件事：你只要牧養我給你的羊，你看看你怎麼祝福你！
